Troubled star Lindsay Lohan is furious at her father Michael Lohan whom she has accused of saying "excessive lies" about her in the media in order to hog the limelight. The 23-year-old actress' father had claimed that she is addicted to prescription drugs and has publicly appealed for his daughter to seek medical help,reported Sun online. "It's so sad that he needs to stay in the media spotlight by using my name and making up excessive lies. He should instead try to be a real father," said Lindsay. Michael recently called on his former wife and Lindsay's mother Dina to "get on the same page" and force their troubled girl into rehab. He has also given interviews in the media asking his daughter to mend her party lifestyle. "I'm so hurt that someone who calls himself my father needs to use the press to communicate with me. I have not spoken to my father,nor have I responded to his threatening and erratic messages over the last several months," the actress said. Last week Michael admitted he wanted to kidnap Lindsay and whisk her off to an isolated location where he could "get her straight". It's since been reported Lindsay has filed for a restraining order to keep her dad away,something Michael has denied.
