Dalit activists set Cong headquarters afire

    On May 26 last year, MRPS activists stormed into the office of a Telugu daily, Andhra Jyoti, smashed the furniture and set the front office on fire. The outfit was peeved over a news item in the paper, which alleged that leaders of certain SCT organisations making demands for reservations were compromising with the Government.

    MRPSBy: reddy | 07-Jun-2009 Reply | Forward Mr.Sarma, MRPS activists sacrificed their lives for the benefit of 50 lakh MADIGA people who are very very poor in AP. This is the Biggest caste in AP. Never had a Central Minister from this community.They have been fighting for rights proportion to their population for the past 16 years which has the approval of all political parties. Please show mercy to the voices of the poorest of the poor, try to understand them from their viewpoint. Let them live with dignity in AP, regards.
