‘Darpok’ Kalki misses the ZNMD fun

Kalki had to watch all the fun Hrithik and Katrina had from a distance due to her late cast in 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'.

When Hrithik Roshan,Katrina Kaif and Abhay Deol stepped into ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’,one of the major incentives they were lured with was an adventure filled holiday including outdoor sports. While Farhan Akhtar was always a part of this Zoya Akhtar film, the trio was happy to step in though the fifth lead,Kalki, knew that she would be missing out on all the fun.

“When the film was earlier titled ‘Running With The Bulls’,many felt that it would also include a bull fight since a major part of ZNMD has been shot in Spain which is the hub of ‘bull fighting’ sport”,informs a source,”However now the makers claim that there is no such fight involved. Instead,Hrithik,Katrina,Abhay and Farhan had fun with scuba diving and sky diving. Not just that,as they also got happily dirty in the tomato festival.” While it was pretty much an extended holiday for all involved,Kalki had to watch it from a distance.

“I was actually so relieved that I won’t have to do all such things”,Kalki says with a laugh,”Main kitni darpok hoon woh kisi ko maloom nahi hai. I can’t do sky diving and all. Hrithik and other boys are so brave that they can jump from the sky; I can’t even imagine doing anything like this.”

Though she reiterates that there are no complaints whatsoever, she does regret the fact that unlike Katrina who had her share of fun with scuba diving, she couldn’t participate in the water sports. “Yeah, now that’s something that I would have enjoyed. I wanted to go deep into the sea. I envy Katrina,I wasn’t as lucky. Anyway,I guess I would compensate for that in my honeymoon”,smiles Kalki before signing off.
