An exhibition cuts the confusion to showcase just one luxe brand in each segment

When curator Upasna Chugh wanted to introduce a French concept of exhibition to Chandigarh,she came up with an exhibition titled “Magique of Art”. The exhibition relies on choosing the best luxury brand from each segment based on a research. “It limits the choice to only the best of luxury goods from across the world. Here,we have brought one top-of-the-line brand or designer in each segment,” says Chugh,as she talks about her exhibition. So what you can look forward to is a line-up of automobiles by Rolls Royce,Varun Bahl’s haute couture,Porsche Design collection of mobile phones and pens,yachts and boats by The Estd and also the best from brands like Dyramics Luxury Porcelain,Alfresco and Luxury Outdoor Living.

The exhibition has 13 exhibitors,who are showcasing their products in separate lounge areas. “We all want to experience the art of luxury. Whether it’s the art of designing a car,jewelery or submarine,we want people to experience opulence and indulgence. The prices may be on the steeper side,but the idea is not to sell but to give one a feel of luxury and tempt one to own one,” says Chugh.

After Chandigarh,the exhibition will travel to Ludhiana and Delhi. “Chandigarh is a lucrative market. Here there’s a perfect blend of style and money and so we are first testing the waters here,” informs Chugh.

The exhibition is on at The Taj,Chandigarh till April 23
