DAV College, Hoshairpur registered a 23-17.5 win over SGGS Khalsa College, Mahilpur, in a league match of the Panjab University Inter-College Kabaddi (Men) (PS) A-Division Championship being played at PU Grounds on Wednesday.
In another match of the day, SGGS College, Chandigarh recorded a hard-earned 28-21.5 win over LLR Government College, Dhudhike. SGGS College, Chandigarh scored their second win of the day with a 25.5-13 victory over SGGS Khalsa College, Mahilpur.
In the last match of the day, DAV College, Hoshiarpur too recorded their second win of the day with a 25.5-13 win over LLR Government College, Dhudike.
In the Panjab University Archery (Women) Championship for the session 2012-13, PG Government College, Sector 42, Chandigarh claimed the title with 1472 points while DAV College, Chandigarh claimed the second spot after garnering 1304 points. The third spot was bagged by PG Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh with 1014 points. DAV College, Abohar took the fourth spot after collecting 933 points.
In the 50 Metres Indian round event, Pinki Rani of DAV College, Chandigarh claimed the top spot with 283 points while the second spot was bagged by Reetika Singh of PG Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh with 281 points. The third spot went to Anshu Yadav of PG Government College, Sector 42, Chandigarh.
In the 30 M Indian round final, Pinki Rani of DAV College, Chandigarh clinched the top spot with 298 points while Davinder Kaur of PG Government College, Sector 42, Chandigarh grabbed the second spot with 278 points. The third position was claimed by Reetika Singh of PG Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh.
In the PU Inter-College Basketball Championship (Men) A-Division, SGGS College, Chandigarh registered a 91-73 win over PU Campus team while SCD Government College, Ludhiana scored a 82-80 win over SD College, Chandigarh.
