DAV School clinch Coca Cola Trophy

Riding high on Vaibhav's knock of 37 runs, DAV School, Sector 8, recorded a six-wicket win over Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 35, in the final match of the U-14 cricket tournament played for Coca Cola Cup and organised by CCA-Punjab, at the DAV, Sector 8, grounds in Chandigarh on Friday. GMSSS-35 team was bundled out for 94 runs in 27 overs. Abhimanyu emerged as the top scorer with the knock of 20 overs. For DAV, Nipun (2 for 20), Hemank (2 for 19) and Bhagwinder (2 for 1) were the main wicket-takers. In reply, DAV team achieved the target in 18.3 overs for the loss of four wickets. DAV chase was led by Vaibhav (37) and Amrit (25).
