    Rahul Dravid became the first Indian and third batsman overall — Australians Allan Border (63) and Steve Waugh (50) to complete a half century of fifties in Test cricket. He also became the third Indian after Tendulkar (232) and Gavaskar (214) and 13th batsman overall to play 200 innings in Test cricket.

    150 leg before

    Anil Kumble became the first ever bowler to dismiss 150 batsmen leg before in Test cricket. Stuart Clark was Indian skipper’s 150th victim in this manner in 123 Test matches.

    Lee-Symonds stand

    Symonds and Brett Lee’s 114-run stand for the eighth wicket was Australia’s second best for this wicket against India after 117 between Simon Katich and Jason Gillespie at the same ground in 2003-04.
