GANGULY COMPLETES 1000 RUNS IN 2007
•Sourav Ganguly became the second batsman after South African Jacques Kallis to complete 1000 runs this year
•He achieved this during his 91-run knock on the fifth day of the third Test in Bangalore. It was the 11th innings of his sixth Test this year, while Kallis has scored 1125 runs at 51.44 with five centuries and an equal number of half centuries in 15 innings of eight Tests
•Ganguly scored 534 runs in three Tests at home this year while he made 489 runs in six Test matches outside India
