Death toll rises to 32 in Guj hooch tragedy

The death toll due to consumption of spurious liquor in Majoor Gam area has gone up to 27,while five more deaths have been reported from another area of the city — Odhav — after which the toll has reached 32,they said.

The incident happened after people consumed spurious liquor on Sunday night and they were hospitalised on Monday.

Reports of the death started coming in since Tuesday. Police have also recovered the five bodies from Odhav.
