Murder by drinkBy: Kishore Karnad | 09-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward With 32 reported deaths so far, it is obvious that the ;joint' was known to a ny patronised by hundreds regularly. Can the local police claim ignorence of its existance? Are they (police) not partners in the crime? But then, this is not the the first liquer tragedy and nor it will be the last-- unless the police and bootleggers are punished- strictly and swiftly, an unlikely even in India. And afterall, those who died are poor workers, remembered only at the time of election.
Another milestone for Modi..By: Jem Hassan | 09-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward He is too busy in promoting Urinecola that he gets any time to stop such incidents...will his GUCOCA help anything to stop this kind of incident?
