  • One of them is an ex-radio jockey, while another spent 14 years in Melbourne before landing a small role in the longest running TV serial Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. Three actresses who play sisters in Zee TV's 12/24 Karol Bagh were on a promotional tour to the city.

    “I got the main role in Grihasthi on Star Plus and since then I have been doing Koi Aane Ko Hai on Colors,” says Hunar Halli, who has yet to get rid of the accent she imported with her from Down Under.

    Hunar plays a tomboy, who would even chase an eve-teaser with a spanner.

    “My plump form got me this role of the girl the family wants to marry off before she is overage,” says Smriti Kalra, who made a crossover from radio to television.

    “It is not the usual family drama and there are some really up, close and personal frames you will get to see of Delhi as it is,” she adds in a voice you can't ignore.

    Sargun Mehta, who plays daughter no. 2, is a rank fresher and still learning the ropes.

    “I owe it to the team and my co-stars for making me so comfortable and helping me give the right expressions,” she chimes.
