  • Mohammed Mansoor Peerbhoy, the computer engineer accused of sending an email to media minutes before the Delhi serial blasts last year, was brought to the national capital from Mumbai on Friday for interrogation by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police.

The police are expected to produce him at the Tis Hazari courts on Saturday, a senior police officer said, who added that they will seek at least a week’s custody of the accused.

Peerbhoy, who was working with an international software company in Pune, had allegedly hacked WiFi networks in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai and sent emails to media before the Ahmedabad and Delhi blasts last year.
