Dengue: 265 cases in city so far

Cases of dengue fever have touched an all-time high in the city with a total of 265 cases reported so far. Out of these cases, 165 are from the city alone. Due to the sudden increase in the number of dengue cases, the Malaria Wing of Health Department, Chandigarh Administration, has enhanced field activities for the prevention and control of dengue. A special drive was launched in Dadumajra colony. Local fogging was done in all the group housing societies of Sector 51, and in Sector 24A, 24D, 33B, 16A and 3A.
