Dengue claims four lives in Karimnagar

    Karimnagar district headquarters hospital has so far 600 patients undergoing treatment.

    Four persons including a woman and an infant died of dengue fever in the district, official sources said here on Saturday.

    The victims identified as Kannappa (35), Kothuri Kalavathi (55), Annaldas Tirumala (14) and an infant Suhani Pandya died yesterday of dengue, they said.

    Karimnagar district headquarters hospital has so far 600 patients undergoing treatment, sources said.

    Hospital superintendent Dr Anantha Rao on Saturday said that all types of blood tests would be conducted at hospital free of cost.

    However, the equipment to conduct tests is yet to reach the hospital and blood samples are being sent to Warangal, official sources said.
