Deva Katta’s Prasthanam to be remade in Tamil by Prakash Raj

Prakash Raj has acquired the Tamil remake rights of Prasthanam,an intense character drama set against the backdrop of contemporary politics.

Prasthanam,the Telugu film directed by Deva Katta and with Sharvanand,Ruby,Sai Kumar and Sundeep Kishan in key roles,will be re-made in Tamil by Prakash Raj.

Prakash Raj,who has made his mark not just as a National award-winning actor,but as a producer of good movies and a director too,has acquired the Tamil remake rights of Prasthanam. Prasthanam,produced by Vallabhaneni Ravi under the banner of VRC Media and Entertainment,is an intense character drama set against the backdrop of contemporary politics.

Deva Katta has also tweeted the news,saying,“It’s official now: Prakash Raj gaaru to remake Prasthanam in Tamil under his esteemed Duet Films banner. I wish that he scores a blockbuster.”

Though details about the cast and other things for the Tamil remake of the film are not yet finalised,it’s learnt that the film will have Prakash Raj playing the role that was enacted by Sai Kumar in the original.
