"We had an optional session. The guys who wanted to rest are back at hotel, spending sometime in the gym. At times, it helps also. It's not always going onto the field and practising. Sometimes rest helps you more than a good session of practice," said Dhoni.
The England team also skipped their practice on the eve of the one-dayer but Dhoni was not ready to ponder over the reasons.
"It does not really bother us. We are too much into what we want to do. We are not thinking what the opposition is doing or what their plan of action is because we are looking into the aspects which are in our control."
Leading a side which is on a roll at the moment, Dhoni, however, felt still there were rooms for improvement.
"As a team we want to improve in each and every department. It's a constant process. Everything right from batting, bowling, fielding and running between wickets has to be improved. You are never in a situation when you think that there's no scope for improvement," said Dhoni.
