Diana Ross dedicates tour to Michael Jackson

“I’m dedicating my tour this year to my dear friend Michael Jackson,” Ross told the audience in the packed Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. She went on to perform a medley of Jackson’s hits,including the track You Are Not Alone.

Jackson’s three children Prince,13,Paris,12 and eight-year-old Blanket were reportedly in the crowd.

The Supremes singer had first met Jackson when he was a 9 year old and they maintained a very close bond. In his will,Jackson wanted Ross to take care of his children if his mother,Katherine Jackson,was not alive or was unable to do so.
