Hitting back at Congress leader Digvijay Singh for accusing RSS leaders of supporting terror,BJP alleged that Singh was a 'well-wisher' of the Naxalites.

Hitting back at Congress leader Digvijay Singh for accusing RSS leaders of supporting terror, the BJP on Friday alleged that Singh was a “well-wisher” of the Naxalites.

“Singh has always been in favour of Naxalites and anti-social elements,” state BJP president Prabhat Kumar Jha said last night at a conference with party workers.

He was responding to Singh’s allegations on Thursday at Indore that RSS was the mastermind behind Ajmer blasts.

Jha alleged that Digvijay Singh was a “well-wisher” of the Naxalites.

Jha also said that there should not be any doubt that the party would contest the next Assembly polls in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

He said neither was he in the race for the Chief Minister’s post and nor will he contest Lok Sabha or Vidhan Sabha elections.

BJP would perform a hat-trick by returning to power in the state for the third time in a row in 2013,he claimed.

On a query,he said,”I will retire from active politics on reaching age of 62.”

He also accused the Centre of denying coal to MP “to make sure that the power situation worsens in the state.”

“This is happening even though Madhya Pradesh happens to be a coal producing state,” he said.

Meanwhile,Digvijay has said that he plans to file a defamation suit against Jha for alleging that he favoured Naxalites.

“I will talk to my lawyers and ask them to file a defamation suit against Jha,” Digvijay told from New Delhi.

The state BJP President should know that even in politics, some sort of decorum has to be observed and no one can be allowed to go scot-free after making wild allegations,Digvijay added.
