Diksha Verma of Government College for girls, Sector 11 claimed the title of all-round best gymnast after garnering 46.40 points in the senior girls' category on the second day of the 39th Chandigarh State Gymnastics Championship being held at Sector 7 Sports Complex. Yogeshwari of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19 claimed the second spot with 42.30 points while Neetu Saini of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 46 secured the third spot with 28.80 points.
Diksha Verma of Government College for Girls, Sector 11 was also dominant in the rhythmic senior girls' category as she claimed the top spot in the Ball event with 15.50 points. Yogeshwari of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19 grabbed the second spot with 14.70 points. The third spot went to Taniya of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19.
In the Ribbon event, Yogeshwari of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19 emerged winner with 14.50 points. The second spot was claimed by Divya of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 16 while Neetu Saini of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 46 grabbed the third spot with 9.40 points.
Diksha Verma of Government College for Girls, Sector 11 continued her fine performance in the tournament as she claimed the top spot in the Hoop event with a score of 15.80 points. The second spot was claimed by Yogeshwari of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19 with 13.10 points. Divya of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 16 took the third spot with 8.30 points.
Diksha Verma of Government College for Girls, Sector 11 added another title after emerging winner in the Club event with 15.10 points. Neetu Saini of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 46 got the second spot with 9.20 points. The third spot was claimed by Divya of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 16 with 8.40 points.
