Dikshit must go: BJP

The BJP-Delhi took the fight against Sheila Dikshit government to the street on Monday,as their national counterparts stalled Parliament over allegations made in CAG report on Commonwealth Games. BJP MLAs,led by Leader of Opposition Vijay Kumar Malhotra,marched from ITO to Delhi Secretariat building.

BJP MLAs,led by Leader of Opposition Vijay Kumar Malhotra,marched from ITO to Delhi Secretariat building.

BJP cadre also burnt Dikshit effigies. The BJP has been demanding Chief Minister’s resignation over the alleged bungling in various infrastructure projects carried out during the Games.

Quoting Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa’s example,Malhotra said: “Just after the Lokayukta report in Karnataka,the BJP directed Chief Minister Yeddyurappa to resign and he resigned from his post. Similarly,why the Congress party has not directed Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit to resign,when she has been indicted by the CAG for committing forgery?”
