Disney India ties up with Net Distribution

Consumers can enter the site by logging on to www.disney.in/shopping and purchase the latest Disney licensed products.

The Walt Disney Co India has signed a multi-year agreement with Net Distribution,an authorized Disney licensee to sell Disney branded products on http://www.disney.in/shopping.

The launch of this new online retail site offers,for the first time,a one-stop Disney-themed online shopping destination featuring over 600 genuine Disney products for Indian consumers. The site will be operated and managed by Net Distribution.

“We are delighted to work with Net Distribution to further extend our reach with Disney consumers in India. E-commerce is a key platform for developing our long term retail strategy and this agreement utilizes technology to deliver compelling products in an authentic online experience to our consumers,” said Roshini Bakshi,vice- president,Consumer Products,Publishing and Retail,The Walt Disney Company India.

“Working as the Indian Walt Disney Company,we continue to develop local business relationships and tap into local expertise. Net Distribution are leaders in managing e-commerce sites and have a strong track record of delivering Indian consumers greater online choice and convenience,” added Bakshi.

Consumers can enter the site by logging on to http://www.disney.in/shopping where they can view and purchase the latest Disney licensed products. The online destination offers a vast array of unique features including:

Over 600 authentic Disney Consumer Products,ranging from children’s apparel,footwear and accessories,toys and stationery to children’s home products,consumer electronics,home entertainment and much more.
