The children's park is planning a special tribute for it's most famous patron, the 'King Of Pop' Michael Jackson.

He considered Walt Disney his idol and tried to recreate Disneyland in his fantasy themed abode 'Neverland'.

And now the children's park is planning a special tribute for it's most famous patron, the 'King Of Pop' Michael Jackson, who died earlier this year on June 25.

Bosses at the Californian theme park are bringing back 'Captain EO', a 17-minute 3D movie starring the 'Thriller' hitmaker which was originally shown at the venue in the 80s and 90s, reported Femalefirst.

The film starring Jackson is about a space crew who are on a mission to take a present to an alien leader.

Fans of the 'Bad' singer have been begging Disneyland organisers to screen the movie as a tribute to him and an official announcement about the plan on September 10.

Jackson was laid to rest in Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Memorial Park last week.
