The Second TR Pandey Memorial District Badminton Championships will be organised by Lucknow Badminton Association (LBA) at the badminton hall of UP Badminton Academy, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow from July 17 to 19.

According to RN Seth, hony. secretary LBA, the Lucknow team for participation in UP North Zone and other state level tournaments will be selected on the basis of performance in this tourney. The tournament features singles and doubles events in the under-13, U-16, U-19, men, women and veteran (above 45 years) age categories.

Players can participate in the under-13, under-16 and under-19 year age groups after presenting age certificates which should be duly attested by the principals of their respective schools/ colleges. The last date for entries is July 15. Entries can be sent through fax also, he further adds.
