    Suspended Congress corporator Deepak Mankar outside Farashkhana police station on way to the court on Friday.

    They also pointed out that there has been considerable delay in filing the complaint.

    The Pune police had arrested Mankar outside the Bombay High Court on Thursday. He was brought to the Vishrambaug police station in Pune around 2 am on Friday. Police produced him before the Sessions Court in Pune around 3 pm. After the remand, Mankar was taken to the Pune police commissionerate for interrogation.

    In tears : Though Mankar waved at his supporters with a smiling face at the Pune court on Friday, police sources said he had broken down in Mumbai on Thursday when he realised that he will be arrested. They said Mankar cried for a while when the Pune police team nabbed him outside the High Court.
