It is a double bonanza for Congress leader Ashok Gehlot. The former Rajasthan Chief Minister, who spearheaded the party campaign in the Assembly polls, has reasons to smile as Congress is creating an upset for the ruling BJP in the desert state. In Delhi, where Sheila Dikshit appears to be staging a third comeback, a record in party circles, Gehlot has also made a contribution being the AICC General Secretary in-charge of Delhi.Though the Congress has not projected any leader as Chief Ministerial candidate in any of the five states, Gehlot was seen as the main rival of incumbent Raje who wanted to raise her profile like Narendra Modi of Gujarat by winning the elections. When asked whether he would be the next Chief Minister of Rajasthan, he simply said it was for the party high command to decide.
