Deloitte also conducted a survey on the chief executive officers (CEOs) of the winning companies in order to assess their company growth forecasts. Among the CEOs of India companies surveyed, the majority predicted company expansion through organic growth. However the challenge still remains in identifying, hiring and retaining qualified employees, which seems to be a global issue, based on findings from the Deloitte Global survey.

Over 95 per cent of companies are planning to further increase their headcount, some by as much as 200 per cent, as they grow their companies locally, regionally and globally. The top 50 winners of the ranking have automatically qualified for the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2006 Programme, the result of which will be announced on December 12, 2006 in Hong Kong.
