The Delhi University Teacher’s Association (DUTA) has condemned the approval accorded to the proposal. On Friday the DUTA had called an emergency meeting and directed the 26 elected teacher representatives in DUAC to express their dissent at the Council meeting.

“We have no objection to the opening of a new centre but all procedure has been violated in this case. No committee was formed to prepare the proposal and course syllabus for the proposed centre most of which has been found to be copied from websites of other Universities.
