The fourth cutoff list for admissions to the Delhi University has left a flickering hope for aspirants with most of its colleges closing entry for general candidates.

However, most of the colleges are still struggling to fill up seats reserved for the OBC candidates.

According to the fourth cut-off list released late Wednesday night, several of its colleges, including Sri Ram College of Commerce, Lady Sri Ram, Gargi, Daulat Ram, Hans Raj, Kamla Nehru, Miranda House have closed admissions under general category.

In Hans Raj, Kamla Nehru, Miranda House general seats are available only in Sanskrit (Hons).

Surprisingly, some of the DU's major colleges like Hindu, Indraprastha and Kirorimal are still looking for students in popular courses like B Com (Hons) and B Com (Pass).

Hindu has lowered its cut-off for B Com (Hons) to 94-97 per cent, while the fresh cut-off for the course in IP college is 92.5 to 95.5. Admission for the course is also open in Maharaja Agrasen which has pegged its cut-off at 65 per cent.
