Educomp gets contracts worth Rs 6.81cr

The project is for 5 yrs including updation of content as per the change of state syllabus.

IT education solutions provider Educomp Solutions today said it has bagged two contracts worth Rs 6.81 crore from governments of Gujarat and Assam for developing multimedia content for the state level schools.

Information and communications technology (ICT) Division of the company — Edureach — has been awarded these two projects by these governments. The total contract value for both the contracts is Rs. 6.81 crore,Educomp said in a statement.

The contract from the government of Gujarat is for development and installation of 2D/3D based multimedia content across all schools of Gujarat and development of web portal for learning management.

The project is for five years including updation of content as per the change of state syllabus,the company added. This shall be used across 3,500 schools.

In Assam,Educomp has signed an agreement with Axom Sarba Siksha Abhijan Mission,Government of Assam for providing Computer Aided Learning solutions in 2,199 middle schools of the state.

Educomp will develop,supply and install multimedia based educational content for computer-based education in Science,Mathematics and English in three regional languages — Assamese,Bodo and Bengali.
