Embrace your failures: Bhatt to students

Management Development Institute’s 3-day annual fest ‘Imperium 20X’ accomplished successfully with the 3rd day’s highlight being an interactive session with Mahesh Bhatt who interacted with film maker Ajay Kanchan as part of the Change Masters Talk Series at the 10th edition of the fest.

Bhatt talked about the adversities he faced in his life and lessons he learnt from them. He believed that the failures in his life gave him the fuel and motivation to make films. During the session he said “A garden without dead leaves is no garden. A life with no failures is no life.”

Bhatt’s advice to MDI students was to embrace failure as it would help in shaping and grooming their lives. He believed that success would contribute less to one’s personality than what failure could add.

Bhatt said that his failures brought him to this stage of life,not his success. He advised all the parents to train their kids to embrace failures. “Training them to achieve only success would not help in sculpting their lives”,Bhatt reiterated.
