  • While the Entrepreneur Development Centre (EDC) is ready for inauguration on Thursday, three winners of the Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Business Plan Competition — EnterPrize, organised in association with the Department of Information Technology, Chandigarh, were announced today.

The winners include Ankur Tripathi of Mumbai, Deepak Syal of Chandigarh and Pulkit Jain of Patiala.

The winners will be felicitated at an award ceremony during the inauguration of the EDC.

They will get incubation space as per the existing terms and conditions at the EDC set up in the Rajiv Gandhi Chandigarh Technology Park (RGCTP) to increase software exports from Chandigarh and assist young entrepreneurs by providing state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Expressing satisfaction at the response, Manjit Brar, Director IT, said, “Not only did we receive a large number of entries, but the quality of the projects submitted was excellent as well. The objective of the Chandigarh Administration to identify deserving candidates for the Entrepreneur Development Centre has been fulfilled by the competition.”
