  • When The Sunday Express visited the distillery, it was business as usual with truckloads of liquor consignments rolling out of Naraingarh. When questioned about the objection raised by the HSPCB, Ashok Jain said, “The Ministry of Environment has cleared our expansion to 75 KLPD and it is up to the HSPCB to give us the final authorization. But we will switch to molasses-based production only when it becomes commercially viable for us. It is the Centre that has given us the option of doing so.”

need to learnBy: arun potade | 20-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward No qestion enviromental concerns is very important but at the same time it should also be kept in mind that other than air water there are other concerns also like industrilisation , employment ,progress of the india and making india to compete china and pakistan. Goverment authorites whether it it is at the center or state should also learn to examine the things in its entire prospective and not only to their department. Because along with air and water which is available in jungle breade and butter and otherthings are also necessary for human society. ARUN POTADE ALCOHOL TECHNOLOGIST
