It is common for film actors to also take up assignments on TV as the medium helps them reach out to a wider audience. However, most actors — Salman Khan, Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and most recently, Soha Ali Khan — have done so once they have established themselves in the industry. But Esha Gupta, who made a debut with Jannat 2 this year and will soon be seen in Raaz 3 and Chakravyuh, will host Supercars on National Geographic channel. A self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, Gupta will take the viewers behind the scenes to where some of the meanest machines are put together.
