Exec jumps to her death from Orchid Building

An HR manager allegedly jumped to her death in Gurgaon’s Sector-53 on Monday.

The police said the incident occurred around 6 pm. Namita Mehta (35) had come out of her office on the fifth floor of Orchid Building here into the smoking zone. The police said she jumped off the railing and committed suicide. They have,however,not recovered any suicide note so far.

Namita was married to one Darshan Singh and was a resident of Sector-31 in Gurgaon. The couple has a 10-year-old daughter,who studies in a private school in Gurgaon,the police said.

The matter is under investigation and a postmortem will be conducted on Tuesday.
