Exports dip in April by 33.2% to $10.74 bn

India's exports fell an annual 33.2 per cent in April to $10.74 bn,its seventh straight fall.

India’s exports fell an annual 33.2 per cent in April to $10.74 billion,its seventh straight fall,the government said in a statement,as a global slump cut demand for Indian merchandise.

Imports dropped 36.6 per cent to $15.75 billion in April.

Trade deficit shrunk to $5 billion in April from $8.75 billion a year earlier.
