  • However, Amar Singh took strong exception to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil’s “small incident in big city” remark and criticised Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh’s visit to Taj Mahal hotel with people from the entertainment industry. Singh is learnt to have urged the Congress to get both these leaders to resign from their posts.

The fact that the allies want to maintain distance from the Congress on terrorism again became clear during the all-party meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence when SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav asked the Congress to “own up” the responsibility for terror attacks.

Face Opposition fire, we don’t want to share blame: allies to CongressBy: Prasad | 02-Dec-2008 Reply | Forward All are bloody opportunistc wild animals who have no value for human life. I almost wept when I saw the video clip (on IBN) of the daring chase that Inspector Kamble gave to the 2 attackers which resulted in arrest of Kasav while Kamble lost his life to hail of bullets. Its sad that no politician except Narendra Modi has taken care to remember them. But the biggest msfortune is that when Modi did what was expected of every patriotic Indian the Congress accused him of being opportunistic while the media highlighted what the congress said. What right has the media got to indulge in such partisan behaviour. By media I mean the english media whose heart burns everytime Modi stature rises.
