Which dialogue have you mouthed the most in front of the mirror?
I once did a play An Evening with Shakespeare and Actors. There was a scene where Romeo is mesmerised by Juliet when he sees her for the first time. I’ve said those lines a million times.

Who inspired you to become an actor?
I was into dramatics in school and while in college I started modeling. I was always fascinated by films and grew up watching Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. I’m equally inspired by Gael Garcia Bernal,Leonardo Di Caprio and Jude Law.

The worst film you ever watched?
It’s early days for me,so I’ll be politically correct and not answer that.

Which film do you wish you could be a part of?
Slumdog Millionaire. I auditioned for it and met Danny Boyle. I lost out because he felt my looks were not Indian enough.

What makes you an actor?
I’m passionate about what I am doing right now. I dropped out of St Xavier’s while in my final year because Pankh’s shooting dates were clashing with my exams.
