From home decor items to sarees,fabrics,jewellery and even eatables,the fair has it all. On from January 26 to February 1,the fair also has musical programmes in the day and in the evening.

Each and every stall is worth a visit,but some of those which particularly catch your attention are worth a special mention.

The Art from Aagor in Assam has a huge collection of cotton and woolen clothes from Assam in traditional designs. Dastkar from Andhra Pradesh has suits and sarees in ikar prints. The Urmul Seemant Samiti has an interesting mix of both traditional and modern attires. One can pits suits and skirts with batik and tye-and-dye.

If the fair takes care of your dressing,it also offers adorns you with jewellery. Check out the thread and black metal jewellery from Kutch,or antique silver jewellery from Rajasthan and Manushi,New Delhi. The Iron Craft from Bastar not just promises to decorate you,but even your house. An eye-catcher at Rajasthani stall are paper-weights shaped like tribals’ heads.

Talking about the fair,Madhavi Kukreja of Sanatkada said it aims at bringing the best of the country to Lucknow. “Our aim in bringing these artistes here is to help Lucknowites appreciate good craftsmanship the way they always have,” said Madhavi.
