Fake mineral water plant unearthed in Lodhika

In a joint operation,officers of the local police and Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights unearthed a duplicate manufacturing plant of a standard mineral water company at Lodhika in Rajkot district on Monday.

The team raided M/S Vrsh Healthcare located at G 1 Road,Gidc Matoda and seized products worth Rs 2 lakh that were pass-off of Bisleri International Pvt Ltd. One Nilesh Manharbhai Vala,30,was arrested in this connection.

The seized goods included 7,872 bottles,1,400 bottle caps,50,250 labels for packing,10,000 cap seals and bottle manufacturing dye.

K D Patadia,Inspector General (Crime),Gandhinagar,and J R Kher,Deputy Superintendent of Police,Rajkot,had ordered to conduct the raid.

Junagadh region police Inspector M H Vala assisted in the operation.
