After dabbling successfully with choreography, producing and directing movies, talkative Farah Khan is set to host a TV chat show featuring “all her friends”.
Known for her bluntness, Farah promises Tere Mere Beach Mein, the Star TV venture would be a no-holds-barred, ‘hotter than coffee’ ‘rendezvous’ that could be enjoyed not on Friday but every Saturday and Sunday, 9 pm, beginning August 23.
“You will have to watch it to believe that it’s different,” says Farah, in Lucknow to promote the show produced by 3’s Company, which is owned by her and husband Shirish Kunder.
Based on a specific topic every week, the hour-long show would be divided into four segments. “We will talk, play games, raise issues and then introduce a common man with extraordinary achievements and honour him,” says Farha stressing entertainment with a sense of responsibility is what she believes in.
“Though my films too were message- oriented, motherhood has made me more responsible,” adds Farha who gave birth to triplets – Anya, Diva and Czar – last year.
Targeting small cities and villages, show will feature Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, John Abraham, Kareena Kapoor, Yuvraj Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Yusuf and Irfan Pathan, Hrithik Roshan, Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Asin.
“Since it is a theme-based show we will discuss issues which different stars can be associated with,” says Farha listing ‘Maa Ka Ladla Salman Khan’, ‘Joru Ka Ghulam Shahrukh Khan’, ‘Ghar ki Betiya Bipasha Basu, Shilpa Shetty’ as few guests.
Promising show would have many emotional moments, winner of several awards including the National Award for Koi Mil Gaya, Farah says the ‘audience connect’ will be the USP of the show.
