FIR registered against Basant Avenue builder

The police on Sunday registered an FIR against the owners of Damini Resorts and Builders on the complaint of property dealer Nirmal Singh. A day before the builders got an FIR registered against Nirmal Singh saying that his men snatched their SUV at gunpoint.

Singh said,“In fact,we had purchased that SUV from Damini Builders about three years ago but the papers were still in their name. Today we met the police commissioner and after listening to our complaint,he got a cross-FIR registered against the builders.

The builder is the owner of the Basant Avenue colony at Dugri. According to Singh,the builder was seeking Rs 2,000 per square yard from them for giving way in front of the plot of his client. When the money was denied,the builder got the road in front of the plot damaged.

Residents have complained against this builder for various other issues in the past as well.
