Three women were burnt alive and several others were injured in an explosion at a fire-cracker manufacturing unit in Rajamundry in East Godavari district on Sunday. The unit with rudimentary facilities and no safety precautions caught fire when freshly made fire-crackers caught fire. Circle Inspector S Srinivas said 12-14 persons including six women were working in the fire-cracker unit in Komarapalem village.
