After an onslaught of international artistes such as David Guetta and Pitbull jiving in the nightclubs here, next month will have Los Angeles-based hip hop artiste DJ Lucky Lou feeding into the country's hip hop obsession. A part of the fifth Tuborg Zero VH1 Hip Hop Hustle, DJ Lucky Lou, known for his collaborations with hip hop stalwarts such as Jay-Z, The Black Eyed Peas and LMFAO, will perform at Blue Frog in Delhi on July 6. Previous Indian editions of the event brought in artistes such as T-Pain, DJ Green Lantern and DJ Drama. The artiste, who started his career in the '90s, has belted out hits such as I'm Sexy and I know it and Party Rock Anthem. "This is my first performance in India and I'm ready to rock," he says over the phone from the US, adding, "I don't know much about the hip hop artistes here but I'm going to use the trip as an opportunity to do just that." He will also perform in Hyderabad on July 4 and Pune on July 7.
