Five members of a family were seriously injured when their close relative attacked them with a sharp edged weapon at Saidpur village in Bihar's Nalanda district early on Thursday,police sources said. An alleged mentally deranged youth Mahendra Bind attacked his family members Bigul Bind,his wife Monakba Devi,their 8-year old daughter Manisha,5-year old son Mikki and his brother Harindra Bind when they were asleep early this morning,the sources said. All the five who were injured in the attack were rushed to a nearby government hospital for treatment. The attacker,however,managed to flee,sources said.
