Flu reaches Kerala,3 test positive

Kerala on Sunday joined the list of states with confirmed cases of H1N1,after three persons tested positive for the disease.

Kerala on Sunday joined the list of states with confirmed cases of H1N1,after three persons tested positive for the disease. Two of the patients had reached Kochi airport from London a few days back. The mother-son duo has been put under observation at a government hospital in Ernakulam district after they showed symptoms of the disease. The third patient,from Malappuram in North Kerala,had landed at the Kozhikode airport from Dubai.

The department got the flu confirmed from the serum tests at NICD in New Delhi. The state government has rushed medicine for the affected. There are now 96 confirmed cases of the flu in India.
