New Zealand all-rounder Daniel Flynn is hoping to get fit in time for the start of the Test series against India in Hamilton on March 18. Flynn hurt his groin while fielding for Northern Knights in a Twenty20 match against Canterbury and could be ruled out for up to three weeks. But the left-hander,who averages 42.81 from nine Tests,is looking to be fit for the four-day State Championship match against Auckland starting on March 6. "It's a matter of rest and then some light work in the middle of this week, and we'll see how it reacts," Flynn said. The all-rounder,who was dropped for the one-dayers against Australia,is yet to find his footing in the New Zealand side. He struggled for runs in the State Shield and was left out of the final match. However,he seemed optimistic after getting two good scores in his last two Twenty20 matches. "I started to get a few out of the middle and found some timing," Flynn was quoted as saying in the 'Dominion Post'. "It's definitely a little bit hit and miss. You don't get any time and that's the pressure Twenty20 puts on you. But you do feel that with maybe one shot you could get your rhythm back."
