    Encouraged with a good response to the First North West HR Summit on ‘Talent Management’, the Second North-West HR Summit on ‘Winning HR Strategies for Turbulent Times’ is being organised by Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Mohali and National HRD Network (Chandigarh Chapter) jointly on October 31 at CII Auditorium. Says J S Bedi Chairman of Institute, “A true human resource transformation is an integrated, aligned, innovative, and business-focused approach to redefining how human resource work is done within an organisation so that it helps the organisation deliver on promises made to customers. This summit would provide a broad base for participants to deliberate upon designing human resource strategies in the present turbulent times.”

    The focus of the summit is to delve upon the strategies and practices that can equip HR managers to enable their organizations to survive and grow in tough economic environment. Prominent speakers for the summit include Santrupt Mishra, Director Aditya Birla Management Corporation, Dr. R. L. Bhatia, MD Fun & Joy, Dr. Prem Kumar-Strategic Advisor Vardhman Group, K K MIshra, Vice President HR Phillips India Ltd, Rakesh Shama VP HT, S Y Siddqui Head HR Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Dr. Arun Kumar Jain, Professor IIM Banglore, Dr. W Selvamurthy, Chief Controller R&D Life Sciences & HR DRDO.
