Football tournament from October 25

The first edition of the Rupee Co-operative Bank Cup Football Tournament will be held in the city from October 25 to November 15 at the SP College Ground. The tournament is open to the local teams playing in the PDFA’s Super & 1st Division & 2 & 3 Division.

Teams interested in participating should send in their entries before October 22 to Pradeep Pardeshi,secretary PDFA (98225 06620) or Sandesh Bhoyite (98904 71729).

The tournament,sponsored by the Rupee Co-operative Bank,will offer a prize money of Rs 55,555 for winners and Rs 22,222 for runners-up in the PDFA Super & 1st Division section.
