And do they miss home?
“ Not at all,” says Omkar Nath, ‘For at our old age home, we are very well looked after and above all enjoy a lot of freedom.”
Nath explains, “At the end of the day, it all about one’s own freedom and space. Children want their space and we oldies want ours. And we all should learn to do that. We have enjoyed our lives and now it is the turn of children to do the same. Why should we become obstacles for them. At the same time, I want my freedom.”
“Which daughter-in-law will serve me bed tea at five in the morning be it be summer or winter?,” he asks and then adds: “I get it here and I enjoy every moment I spend. My only advise to the youngsters is make some good saving which you can spend later in life.”
