Residents of Noida will witness a major traffic overhaul in the next few weeks as the traffic department and the Noida Authority have chalked out a plan to ensure smooth traffic in the city.

At least 12 right turns at various intersections will be closed and indicators will be installed to avoid accidents.

The cut from Sector-18 to Great India Place Mall, which most commuters use as a shortcut, will be closed. Now,commuters will have to go all the way beyond Sector-18 and take U-turn to reach the mall. “We have identified at least 21 cuts that needed to be closed as these areas reported many accidents.
